Our Moroccan Twist on Southern Grits! We use traditional Moroccan couscous in place of grits to make a delicious, southern staple of cheese grits in this Lockdown Travel Vlog.

Couscous is made of semolina flour, which is wheat-based, and is basically a type of pasta. On the other hand, grits are made from corn, so they flavor and texture will be different in from traditional grits, but that’s what we want!

    Guys I haven't had grits for ions and ions I used have them for breakfast with bacon (another time, another life) you should be able to get corn flour at Carrefour… I will be making grits tomorrow but no bacon just "lam-con " and back in my other home norway we have the equivalent called rømmegrøt (same principal but with saour creme) you guys make awesome entertainers and cooks.. Keep it up you're doing great.. On another note you said southern food is a bit fatty I have had the pleasure of experiencing Cajun food in its purest form I gained 5 kg (10lbs)in 10 days so yes southern food is fatty but it was worth it…. … Snow camel out!! ❄️🐫🇲🇦🇳🇴🇺🇸
