Sorry for the delay! I was in a remote side of Indonesia next to Papua New Guinea and wifi wouldn't let me make my Saturday post date.

I started my channel 01/01/2019. I have done 6 videos so far. I really didn't like how my videos looked and made a deeper dive into my equipment. I love making YouTube videos and see this as my calling. Your video truly energized me push through the discouragement. Thanks Sir!!! Serious travel question: The State Dept. issued a warning for Americans traveling to China. My plan is to visit there in April 2019. Any insights from your veiwpoint?

Thanks to many YouTubers I dove even more into photography in 2018. I had treated it as a hobby for about 6 years and had a few thousand followers on instagram (I do receive some nice stuff because of it but I really don't make any real money). I downloaded Lightroom and Photoshop, got a better computer and started learning for hours every day on YouTube and Skillshare.

I have been freelancing as a photographer for the past 6 months (I shoot only during the weekend because I have a day job during the week) and while I am not getting rich I am making a nice side income and getting to visit quite a few nice places in the beautiful Italy.
I want to get into videography into the future as it does seem like a lot of fun (and obviously a lot of work), too.

I have a tiny channel and I haven't uploaded anything recently, but I wish to make time and dedicate myself to it in the following months/this summer.

You and many other YouTubers like yourself are an inspiration to all of us.

I love this quote of yours: For those of you who just show up, buy the one way ticket, go with the flow! You will find ways to make it work and a lot of times, it won't be the way you planned. A lot of the times, the plan gets thrown out the door and new brighter, more exciting opportunities arise.

I stumbled upon your video. Thank you for your tips. I recently quit my job (I had been there almost 12 years) because I was very unhappy. Now that I'm looking for a job; what you say makes a lot of sense to me. I'd love to find something I could quit to take 3 months off for travel. I'm 48 years old and grew up with a mindset that job stability is key to being successful. I'd rather be happy. Anyway, thanks again for your insight!
