When i watch these videos with foreigners falling in love with my country it reawakens my love for it. This country is just great, i can be proud to live here. Can't imagine having a better life elsewhere. And i love helping tourists, sometimes they are hesitant to receive my help because they are probably not used to people willing to just walk with them to restaurants and have a chat. In a sense i'm a representative of my country so i want it to look good, so i do my best to be extra nice to people from other countries, everybody should feel welcome here 😀

I was in Iceland for my first time with that snow! It was surely amazing! We planned the golden circle tour for that date, but it was cancelled, because of the snowfall, but it was actually amazing!

You are SO lucky to have been there for this snowstorm!
The entire time I lived there, 1981-83, it mostly snowed with sleet… sideways!
Also, there were no trees! NONE.
And… Beer was illegal! (Except for us on base)
