Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years 🙂 Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

i’m so grateful you showed what life is really like in egypt. it warms my heart, i grew up there and most travel vlogs i see of egypt are so touristy and don’t show egypt for what it is and who the people are. u guys r so amazing <3

Geez you two are everywhere! When I was going to Oktoberfest in Munich in 2017, I watched your videos. I commented that I hoped it did not rain when I was there and you responded that I would have a great time either way. Well it did rain and as you predicted, I did have a good time. Now I am going to Egypt at the end of December so I am looking at videos. What do I find? You two again! 🙂 I am beginning to feel like I am just following you two around the world. Where are we all going next?

Nate: I have been reading the complaints about the cows. I appreciate you showing us what life is like there. It will cause me to be more generous towards the people when I am on my Nile cruise in December.

I’m more interested in the non-tourist areas…this is one of my favorite videos you guys have shot hands down. I love seeing the wildlife + community there!

I absolutely love your blogs and my issue with this one is that you fail to mention how expensive the specific tour you took was. My family and I are travelling to Egypt and I was so excited to book this tour, it, however, costs upwards of $1100 per person for 3 days. Most of us watch your channel because we like the way you're sensible about your expenses and only dish out points and miles for the expensive hotels and flights. I don't see how spending $2200 for 3 days was justified unless this was a sponsored video in which case I really think that it should be mentioned in your video.
