I was there right after this snowstorm, it was pretty crazy for us because we live in a ski town in the US and we just couldn't comprehend how iced over all the sidewalks were a week after. 😛 Now we're convinced and we want to move to Iceland 🙂

Sorelle, you're such a gem, thank you thank you thank you for just being on this planet and sharing yourself with the world. I basically spent my whole day watching you and I felt I was in a company of an old good friend!! It's amazing how warm and inspirational you are! You make me feel comfortable and content. I so missed being surrounded by so genuine, open-minded and just kind people who rife with life!! Also, Iceland has been my dream since high school and it's the only thing that motivates and keep me afloat so far. Would love to ever meet you when in Iceland! Sending you good vibes and love from Ukraine 💙

Hello 🙂 I'll be traveling to Iceland for 2 months on a solo journey this summer. I was wondering where in Reykjavik I could find that hot dog stand you'd shown in the video where the fellow sings opera to you?

I would possibly "DISPUTE" that this was the biggest storm in Reykjavik in over 100-years. I came home on leave in Dec of 1957 and got back to Keflavik around the second or third of January 1958 That night the wind began to howl ( terribly like i never heard before ) and by 5 a m it sounded even worse. Where i was located on base was next to WIDE-open areas where the wind could blow the snow away until it reached some structures, where it could then "pile up". I lived on the second floor of my barracks. The wind that day was blowing at: "Over 100 mph" It blew open the lower door to the building and blew the snow up to the SECOND FLOOR landing. One INCH ropes were tied inside and went past another barracks and then to the MESS HALL The building where i worked was just about COVERED with snow, especially on the side the wind was blowing from. Right up to the ROOF. I think that "BLIZZARD" may have been the worst that Keflavik/Reykjavik experienced in the last 100 YEARS Can anyone check on that to back up my story? It would be awesome. Thanks

Hahahahahahaha. This looks like Winnipeg, Canada. (Where I am unfortunately from) I'm going to Iceland in October 2017. Your videos are so helpful, and you are a joy to watch 🙂 I would love to live your life!
