Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

We’ve pulled inspiration from several of our favorite travel vloggers on YouTube, such as: +CaseyNeistat +FunForLouis +Jon Olsson +Mr Ben Brown , and any other talented travel vloggers that YouTube’s algorithm will hopefully connect us with 😉

How long was that sailboat time-lapse? Very cool shot. Your cinematography and edits are so professional.

I think there is smudge on your camera (right side). I thought it was a smudge on my screen, but I just watched the same thing on a different monitor. My apologies if this has already been mentioned.

The Parisian architecture is stunning to look at, and every street corner is picturesque. Many of the buildings might not have names, but a couple that could be seen are: 5:04 The Pantheon could be seen behind Kara as you're leaving the Luxembourg Gardens. 7:17 The stunning building across the river that you stopped to film is called the Conciergerie. It was the royal palace at one point, and then during the French Revolution it served as a prison. Most notably Marie Antoinette was held prisoner at the Conciergerie before her execution which happened at Place de la Concorde which could be seen at 8:03. Enjoy your travels!

Did you know that it's illegal to use videos of the Eiffel Tower at night for commercial use? Your travel vlog isn't commercial, but just a fun fact 🙂

Also, the Hunchback was quite good at playing the organ. : )))
By the way, did you hear about the man who fell in the river in Paris, and was pronounced
    "in Seine"?

this pretty much summed up my trip to Paris…..except for the lack of public bathrooms and the very rude people……..

I was in Paris in January 2017 and it was so cold that I couldnt really enjoy it and I never made it out to see Versaille so I'd love to go back again some day and truly appreciate it

Seems like I'm always directing my comments at Kara, but she's in front of the camera 90 percent of the time. Good filming Nate! There you're even. 🙂

👍👍 we just got back last week and can’t wait to return! We’ll have to come back to check out some spots we missed.

You did something illegal!!!!! You can’t take pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night because of the lights

Next time you go to France, you must go to the Carthes Cathedral, its BEAUTIFUL with just a rich history as Notre Dame.

I love your video! My family and I recently got back from a 3 week vacation in Europe where we stopped in France and visited the country town of Belleau Wood and the city of Paris. The Eiffel tower is beautiful! There is so much to see and do. We can't wait to go back and explore more of France! 🙂

Recently got to to Paris with school on an exchange, my family lived a block from the Eiffel tower. Went on a day trip to Normandy. Definitely recommend, visited Acheter an the DDay museum, American cemetery, and Omaha Beach.

I loved the catacombs, thankfully I got to see them my last day. that is so sad they were closed for you. There was a cute lion statue by the catacombs.
I went to the louvre and my mummy’s exhibit is closed on Fridays.
In May 2017 Norte dame cathedral had a bread festival so I was able to buy bread 🥖 and then wait in a small 15-20 line it also helped there was 16 of us in our group. I got to go to the second story of the Eiffel Tower.

I want to go back so badly. I spent 2 weeks in Paris. I stay 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower. Every night I went down to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle and get a banana Nutella crepe or a strawberry swirl ice cream. Paris is beautiful.

Eiffel Tower underwhelming? How could anybody who has been to Paris say that. I'm glad you got it, Paris is magnificent!

this brings back such nice memories, we were there in the early spring of 2005. It was really cold, but there were snow showers mixed in with sunshine from the top of the tower and it was absolutely spectacular! I'll never forget it as long as I live!
