DUST STORM & CROCODILES! Nile River Cruise Day 5

Day 5 of our Nile River cruise through Egypt with Nour El Nil: // We started the last day of our cruise at the Temple of Kom Ombo. It was massive and beautiful, and once again our group was the only one there! Afterwards we saw a crocodile museum filled with tons of mummified crocodiles! We walked back to the boat in a crazy dust storm, then got upgraded to the suite of the boat! It was a wonderful last day in Egypt 🙂

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years 🙂 Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

So about 2 months ago YouTube autoplayed your Trans Siberian railway videos and after watching a few of those I decided to watch everything from the start even the Poland video with no sound (you can turn on subtitles and read most of it) well today I'm all caught up and I think my favorite video was the salt flats one that was insane. Looking forward to seeing you complete you 100th country and then some.

I have been traveling internationally a lot the last couple of years and Egypt was always low on my list and I have to say it’s still is.

There is just something about it that is not interesting.

    Love the video

Kara you are killing it with the editing … and the choice of music is sweet and right on point. I’m bopping to the tunes and feeling the mood. You are a pro!

Can really see the pros of being on a smaller ship. Is a cruise on this kind of ship much more expensive than one on a bigger ship? Don't envy that heat. We used to live in the south of Spain and a few days every summer there would be a wind coming in from the mountains behind (lived on the south coast) and it would get as hot as 45 degrees Celsius with that hot and dry wind that you're describing. Too much! Looking forward to your next vlog. 👍🏼

New subscriber here. Been binge-watching your guys vids all evening. Lov the vids, I'm so jealous and wish I could go to Egypt. Do you guys ever travel in Canada and the U.S.?

Hi everyone! My name is Matilda and right now I'm living in Nairobi, Kenya, to study my second year on gymnasium, which is like swedish high school, at the swedish school in Nairobi! I have done some videos from there already, and I would be so happy if you could check them out and maybe subscribe! Thanks!!<33

@ kara and Nate. How do you have enough money to do stuff like this cause when I'm older I wanna go travelling around the word and how long did it take you guys to save so much money to go travelling?

  9. Greg Hodgkinson

I FINALLY reached the end of the videos! I "found" you through "Lost LeBlanc" four/five months ago. I started to watch your videos in order and shortly after starting I hit the subscribe button (I am a "stingy" subscriber and only subscribe to 16 channels ((two of which are no longer active)). Love your style. I also like the way you two share the vlog experience with Nate filming and Kara editing.

I never saw (maybe I missed it) as to why your channel is "Kara & Nate" vs "Nate & Kara". Did I miss the explanation?

Now to go look at soon of the folks you have recommended during your travels. Thank you very much for showing your audience places the vast majority of us will never get to see first hand.

Nice Video again but its very intresting that the Egyptians make a Museum for Crocodiles what they have all Killed and now you dont find Crocodiles in the Egytian side of Nile 🙁 …. and everywhere want the people money & bakhsis … you speak 3 minutes and than tehy want money .. you go to museum till in the Museum there is coming somebody you think he show something to you and because he have show you a Mummy what you later will see but they want money because he show it you :)))) its crazy country but like in a Time machine , you can go 50-60 years back !!
