BUGS + INCREDIBLE Thai Street Food | Chiang Mai Sunday Night Market

The Sunday Night Market in Chiang Mai, Thailand is an incredible place to eat delicious Thai street food! We decided to make an updated, bigger, better, DIY food tour video of the night market including eating A GIANT ROACH! EW! We wandered the walking street for hours and also ate many DELICIOUS foods 🙂 If you want to see how far we’ve come, watch our last Sunday Night Market video from 2016

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years 🙂 Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

Nate doesn’t need to turn 30, me and my friends love these videos and watching and seeing how places we will never get to go to are like. Y’all are such an inspiration to us and are amazing in every way God has blessed y’all, praying for y’all and all y’alls adventures❤️

Ahh you guys are amazing. I’ve never really been able to travel much in my life, I’ve been to Hawaii and Haiti (for furthest away) but I’m going to Europe for a mission trip in March and I was nervous about the culture change, but your videos really show how to immerse yourself into a culture and get comfortable! Thank you! I could binge your channel all day!

He is prettier than she is. Might just be better at applying makeup. You guys are like best friends only right?

Random question: how are you able to drive in other countries with a US drivers license? I have seen a lot of videos of you all getting rental cars but was unsure of how driving works in other countries!

A year ago today, I found Kara and Nate's Trans Siberian Orchestra. It was a particularly sad and lonely New Year's Day. I saw them in the side bar and clicked. I had no idea that my life was about to change, and how many adventures I'd soon enjoy. It's been one amazing year, Kara and Nate Thank you guys for EVERYTHING! Here's to plenty more fun in 2019! ❤❤❤

Love this video! I don't think I could eat bugs though. My hubby might. He would definitely try all the squid stuff. 🙂

It’s funny how it’s cheaper to eat out instead of buying everything at the supermarket and cooking. That’s my dream!

How do you guys eats all this street food & not get sick? I'm so jealous! We're in Mexico right now & I'm so afraid to eat any street vendor food!

You guys are making me homesick! I kept saying “one more video” and all of the sudden it’s 1 in the morning. Incredible work guys, please keep them coming.

I am your Thai subscriber and watch all your VDOs, I just went to Chiangmai for a holiday and want to confirm the monk is a wax statue not a real person. Thai people are very neat with their skills with it comes to wax statues. They are made after a much respected monks passed away and you can see in several temples over the country. BTW wax museum of Thailand where very real looking wax statues is in Nakhon Patom province, not far from BKK. You will be amazed which is real and which is wax. HA ha HA!

It was there three months ago as well. So I guess it's a statue hahah, they have more of them in other temples in Chiang Mai tho
