Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s precious jewels of the north and a UNESCO world heritage site. Ha Long Bay is known for it’s stunningly beautiful backdrop sprinkled with thousands of sky-high limestone islets. This is the first of several videos documenting my journey throughout Vietnam.

You've done it again, absolutely perfect. All aspects of each location covered, spiced with your personal experiences and suggestions. Remember the Travel channel used to be this good? PBS travel peeps are ok but lots of reruns.Your product is better and one woman op, sell it to TV! Sincerely, your longtime PJ K9 Vet, CaptCraig Peri Follower. (Well E-4) Ha!

Steph, I love your travel videos! I downloaded the Transit Go App when I visited Seattle because I saw your Seattle travel guide – it saved me so much time and I wished I saw that video sooner because I've been visiting Seattle for the past four years without knowing about it! I just hope that one day, you will shoot in 4k – your videos would be even more awesome!

Thanks for the videos! You are bringing back so many memories for me from when I traveled to Thailand, Hong Kong etc. I just recently uploaded a video from my time in Barbados. Where are you off to next!?

Hi Stephanie, you picked a relatively warm time to visit Vietnam. Temperatures are around 78-90 F with 65-90% Humidity in Ha Long, VN. During Tet, late January to early February is a beautiful time to see Vietnam — Lunar New Year (Weather is mild). Stay hydrated. Ga – Chicken, Bo – Beef, Heo – Pork, Com – Rice, Banh Mi – Bread… Enjoy your tour of Vietnam. I am looking forward to your perspective of the Country — traveling and learning is an amazing opportunity. 🤓🇺🇸 Have a safe journey.

Hi Steph. Another solid video by you. The view of Halong Bay after your hike was breathtaking. Makes me want to jump on a plane right now to Vietnam. Looking forward to the rest of the videos in this series. And look at you. 17K subscribers. Pretty soon you'll be at 20K.
