Out with the old.

Out with the old.

Stalk my other channels:

Thank you for all your support on my YouTube career thus far for what it was. It’s so important for me to make a clear distinction on this channel to farewell what was. Perhaps it’s not as big of a deal for so many others but to me it felt like it was just a giant holt and a restraint around my neck. I needed to release that.

Who knows where the future will take us together. Or perhaps not together. Time will tell.

Thank you for watching.

Hello friends. This is a shit tone of comments of support here. Wowsie. You’re all awesome. Thank you.
I will still be doing videos here and there, this isn’t a stop to it all as I still have obligations. I’m just in the process of trying to shake off whatever is keeping me from knowing myself and being able to produce in confidence.
So just in case that didn’t come through. And perhaps going forward I’ll know more whether this is a long term future for me here or not if I decide I’m happy creating the new content and being in front of the camera still.

But it was so nice at least to make this video to farewell the old me and welcome a new version. So thank you so much for the support on that front. That’s really encouraging for me.

Kisses and hugs to you all! ❤️❤️❤️

“Don't aim at success. The more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself. Happiness must happen, and the same holds for success: you have to let it happen by not caring about it. I want you to listen to what your conscience commands you to do and go on to carry it out to the best of your knowledge. Then you will live to see that in the long-run—in the long-run, I say!—success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to think about it”
― Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning

Highly recommend to go through this book –> "Man's Search for Meaning". It really gives you different prism.

First time commenter! I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see someone who is REAL, AUTHENTIC, THOUGHTFUL, and PRINCIPLED in this space. You’re a bit of a unicorn! 🦄 Whatever you end up doing, so long as it best serves you – body, mind, and spirit – it will be the best for the world. 🌈

I just started my channel literally 2 weeks ago. I have been watching you for over a year and I have loved watching your transitions and seeing you change. Your mind set is so similar to my own at the moment and I love watching you! Thank you again for letting us into your life again even though you didn’t want to xx

Human optimization….I LOVE THAT! Do what makes you happy…if it isnt making you happy then don't do it. Life is waaaaay too short. Listen to your gut (third brain) and let that guide you.

You deserve every bit of support and if you think you don’t, that’s what makes you so worth following – you are so incredibly humble and genuine, you are so real and so unique. There are so many youtubers who blend together but whenever I see your smile anywhere, you just pop out, you have such a vibrant and clear energy, you stand out so much. I think this must all feel so weird to you but it’s very natural and it’s good that you are taking time to reevaluate. Most people don’t, and they end up burnt out and just quit. You don’t quit, you just transform and put your energy into something else. Whatever you’ll do next, will be still amaizing. Don’t feel like just because you were doing something up until now, you need to keep it up and fulfill some expectations. Do what you feel like doing, your followers will still follow you for you. And it will still be meaningful. Just take care and wait for the right thing to come to you again 😉

Don’t stop being you, it’s been so fun going along with you on this experience as you change as a person. One of the best things about being a human is that we are allowed to grow and change, and this process is natural. We should be allowed to become new things and change our interests and develop into a new person every so often. Keep it up and the people who interested will stay and the ones who aren’t will go but it’s ok cause you don’t need them anyway. No one person can be what everyone needs.

Damn girl, I love you. Your videos have been the greatest. I was so into your photography days. Since you are now moving away from your photography, I'll try to hang around. Forgive me if I don't. I hear your existential dilemma and I hope you come to terms with it. Love you girl, hang in there. All this turmoil will settle down. You will find a comfortable space to be in. Love you lady. Wish you peace.

Hello! I was wondering what you have been upto. Yes I got to know your channel on the photography topics, but self improvement is an awesome learning subject! I'm glad you are candid and open about what worked and what didn't work on YouTube, and you are preparing us for a change. That's great! I didn't think my comments made any difference, but I'm realizing that they do for the Youtubers I follow. I will comment more to support you. Good luck on your adventures on YouTube! Ignore the haters, I bet they are silly 13 year old kids. Lots of support from USA! Naureen

But Sorelle! The reason so many of us LOVE your videos is because your wonderful personality shows through. Because you are authentic. It just wouldn't be the same if you held back who you are <3

  11. Emily Nash

Thank you for sharing this! I've been watching you for years you literally feel like a soul sister to me (hehe) such a true inspiration to all. I appreciate how raw and authentic you've made this video. I'd like to wish you all the best on your new journey.

    Much Love- Emily x

You go girl. 30 is like the year to realise what we’ve been doing to ourselves lol. I’ve had many meltdowns this year and unable to work a lot as well.

We wanna watch you because we enjoy what you put out but yes live for yourself an no more people pleasing. Bring your unique human self into everything you do.

  13. Siva S.

I just discovered you and even though it was some photography video I immediately felt your spirit and authenticity. That level of openness is very attractive and many people don’t know how to be that genuine, so you inspire people. Maybe you are meant to put out human improvement content…that is what it seems to me. To be as honest as you takes lots of courage and though you learn to protect your self better, it is your vulnerability that makes you truly authentic 👌🏻💙🌀

Sorelle, I'm an urban wildlife photographer. I watch you because you're a beautiful spirit and I'm attracted to your energy and the things you do. I'll keep on watching because I watch your channel for you, your talks and your adventures as you go through life doing your Sorelle Journey. Love & Blessings.

Sorelle I’m also a long time lurker. The work you’ve done has changed my life it has re awaken my creativity and I wish I hadn’t been so selfish and interacted with you from the beginning to let you know how far you’ve reached with your message. You’re the coolest kid on YouTube.

  16. Sheri Matthews

Sorelle babe! I started watching your videos two years ago and always loved you! Life changes as it does and I started using Youtube less. This is the first video of yours I've seen in a while and it's so wonderful to see you being so authentically you. I always thought there was so much more to you than the tiny part of you we saw with regards to photography and for me at least, I don't need you to be uber-creative, I have loved seeing the 'you' in this video, honestly it felt like sitting down and listening to one of my best friends. It's that connection that you manage to create through the lens and screen that is what makes you special and is the reason I think people are so enthralled with your content. My favourite videos of yours have always been the ones where you just sit and talk to the camera, I want to hear your advice because you have lived such a varied and interesting life and this makes you credible and able to really help people with your words. I am 27 and when I started following you two years ago I was in the depths of a crisis and your videos inspired me to change my life. Two years on, I have changed professions and am moving towards a nomadic lifestyle (after having been on the road for 7 months this year) and I am truly the happiest I have ever been. Hearing your advice is like getting a hug from a sister and this is your power. Do whatever feels right to you moving forward, just be you.

Kindred spirits, you & I. Sounds insane, yes, but listening to the adjectives used to describe yourself, your emotions and your journey have hit at the heart of myself, my journey & emotions. Exact terms I use daily Thru my own life. And yes, I am also a highly evolved empath, Hsp with clairvoyant abilities. Think that’s how I found your vids. Stared with posing vids stumbled onto this and realized why I kept watching every photo video. I too ran around 24/7 like energizer bunny then after a car crash my body gave out forcing me to sit on the sofa daily and on several meds and unable to live like my old self. My mind races but body won’t race with it. Would love to somehow communicate one on one via text email whatever… I’m not insane or an internet troll. A single mom with a graduate degree n clinical counseling and a certified personal trainer for 15 years….until my body said stop… I’ve now been battling health issues I never had before and honestly it’s a daily struggle that I’ve been wrestling with now for 4-5 yrs. I’m on disability after having worked insanely hard since 16. I live w my amazing boyfriend in Scottsdale AZ love this video & would love to just get to know you. Strong female empathetic introverts with histories of being told too intense are a rare breed. I’m an INFJ ON THE MYER BRIGGS PERSONALTY INDEX AND GUESSING YOU ARE TOO. Only 1% of population fits here and sometimes it can feel awkward and lonely cuz most don/ cant understand the depth underneath the surface….it’s too intense lol. I’m Jennifer! Don’t really do Facebook much anymore but I’m m.me/jennifer.ann7 on Fb messenger or right here. Be well, Jennifer.

don't worry yes, we are still watching and will keep continue watching.

This is a very brace video to put out. thank you for your story, not easy to see yourself in the mirror and realise things have to or are changing. Keep doing what you love and don't worry about us. do what makes you happy, and if it continues to inspire other awesome, if not so be it.

Just thought you'd like to watch this Youtuber to relax and recenter. Her name is Liziqi. She's a completely different breed of youtuber. She's captivating and it doesn't come from her personality, it comes from real raw talent as a human being and the lifestyle she lives and shares with us. She never talks in her videos, and no, it's not ASMR. She's a Youtube sensation in Asia due to her helping people destress with her videos. Maybe it will help you to see other ways of being a youtuber. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoC47do520os_4DBMEFGg4A/videos

You can't stop. I won't let you. Ahahaha!! Alot of people won't let you. I love you, Sorelle. When i'm trying to calm my mind or my heart, i watch you. That's the simplest way I could explain why you shouldn't stop. 😉 just do you. We love you!

I can understand the whole concept of you wanting to keep your distance – not letting anyone see who you are, but never let people that don't know you bring you down. I know it can be tough, especially since you have such a huge following, but you are such an inspiration. I was struggling to find what interests me, I love editing and I love taking photos and in my life, I've always struggled to make friends with the same interests as me and then I found you – even though I only know of you through youtube, if I came across a friend like you in my lifetime I think life would have been an even greater adventure than what I'm doing now (because I have made my life an adventure alone, I'm still building up on the videos and editing and what topics suit me), your videos have helped me in another way – in a way to feel comfortable being by myself and doing what is right for me. I've been learning to be comfortable with being 'alone' for a while now but your videos make everything so much easier! (I've only come across your videos in the past 2 weeks, I love them!)

  22. Ivan Mesquita

I ended up on your channel when you posted about trying to go plastic free. That was such an inspiration!! I also love your photography work and your minimalistic way of life. Watching this video now I am actually very excited about your new content. Even if its a simple video like this it can actually inspire people. Keep it up as long as it makes you grow as a person and also makes you happy. Thanks for sharing this.

  23. Marisela Marin

Can I just sorelle that you’ve made such an impact on my life I don’t watch YouTube anymore but you of all people you made me so confident to shave my head you also made me realize there’s so much more then just the tiny world we live in and the things the people around us believe, you are a healthy role model to women and I just wanna comment to empower you because what you’ve done with your platform is like no one else

  24. Michele Rose

Hi Sorelle, this video really resonated with me. Thank you for being so honest. I am looking forward to your new content. My passions are also soul and personal development (or "human-optimization"), and I'm looking forward to hearing your insights and wisdom you have to share. I'm 32, and I have felt a huge shift in myself since becoming 30 as well. I think you are growing up and so is your audience and this type of content is definitely needed online! There aren't very many youtubers that have a more mature perspective. <3

  25. Natalie Karanyuk

Hello Sorelle! I've been watching your videos for a while now. I never liked or commented any of the videos I've watched. I never thought it was a big deal. With my job which I only quit recently, I had almost zero time for social media. But when I could I would watch your videos because its always inspiring even if it's not always "fun". Like I can't call this video "fun" but it is still inspiring. I am sure there are plenty of people who experience the same feelings and it's important to know you are not alone. I even watched your photography videos (I know nothing about that). You just managed to make it interesting somehow. Or the challenges you were doing. I am not going to repeat them any time soon but it's inspiring to see that there are people out there who live extraordinary lives so not everything is lost for me. I am now unemployed but happy that I finally have time to discover who I am and what I want and you might have played a part in that. It was from one of your videos I found out about Work Away and now I am going to Bali without a return date. It was also from your video I realized I don't have to use so much plastic. At this stage I don't think I care anymore what your videos will be about. I would still watch them because you have an amazing personality and I like to see you grow, learn and inspire me to do the same. Love and greetings from Ukraine

    Aloha Sorelle
I know it's a long shot of you seeing this comment but Im posting anyways
I listened to this video and there is something way more profound going on than you may know.
I have come to the place you are now experiencing, the hold and restraint is a message. Only because you mentioned you've come to understand the you are an empath and that you are all about self improvement ect. do I reach out. If you are open, this video is a beautiful unpacking of why we reach the place you have arrived and offers resolve. Wishing you the best

Truly respect your willingness to be raw and real. Your unique and positive energy is what drew me to follow. I seek energy and different viewpoints to broaden my perspective while challenging me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences.
