Two Days in Antigua!

I spent two days in Antigua, Guatemala before moving on to our next country – and I loved this place! The colorful streets, friendly and laid back atmosphere, cobblestone roads, volcano views, and gorgeous shops are just some of the awesome things about this city.

I love sharing my adventures! Please subscribe – there are always many more coming up.

LOS MAYAS FUERON UNA CULTURA BRILLANTE, MUY INTELIGENTES Y DOMINABAN MUCHAS DOCTRINAS DE CONOCIMIENTOS, NO FUERON COMO OTROS MUY SANGINARIOS Y CAZADORES. SUS CREENCIAS ERAN MAS DE EDUCACION , MATEMATICA , DEPORTES , ESCRITURA,ASTROLOGIA, ESCULTURAS, SIEMBRA Y PROTEGER EL MEDIO AMBIENTE, CREIAN QUE LA NATURALEZA ERA BASICA Y FUNDAMENTAL.EN FIN ERAN LOS MAS EDUCADOS EN CONOCIMIENTOS, LES ENCANTABA APRENDER Y ERAN MUY CURIOSOS Y MAS PACIFICOS!

I've been in 43 countries around the World; from Central Europe Deutschland, Belgica, Holanda, and Escandinavia Denmark, Norway, and in Latinamerica and Guatemala is in the top 5 most beautiful countries I know.  And true everything is so affordable there.

according to me as a responsible traveler, i prefer going to places where you can help the local mayas than paying to the expensive coffee owners that exploit them… just a suggestion buy to the mayans. help them resist.

I thought Antigua as in the island…not in Guatemala. Have you visited the eastern caribbean islands???

also, I'll add you are both beautiful young ladies! You're very lucky to be able to travel and see how others live. be proud of yourselves, good job! Say hi to Poppy, she looks like she'd be fun to travel with and she's gorgeous too!

In Antigua and in "zone 1" it's illegal to build or change a house that is not with an "old look"
I know this because I am from Guatemala

I loved Antigua as well and it was a total surprise to me. The history of the place overlooked by all the volcanoes. One of the days there I went up Acatenango Volcano by 4WD and climbed the last thousand metres to watch Fuego Volcano erupting, but not big eruptions like a few weeks ago! Amazing! By the way, you have amazing blue eyes!!
