Who knew sleep could have such incredible results for your overall health. Without proper rest, even if you’re sleeping 7-8 hours a night, you’re creating long term damage to your cells and that can lead to an array of diseases.

Here in this video together with @LeonTheAlchemist, we’re sharing information and simple tips to help you learn how to sleep (funny that this skill isn’t often taught by anyone).

All of us creatives need all the brain power we can get – sleep can help as well as helping with mental clarity, helping limit anxiety and depression. All of the things that can get in our way of a fulfilled life.

    Everyone is always like bedrooms should be used for sex. How much sex are they even having. Why do they feel the need to make it as normalised as possible. It's not and shouldn't be a routine like sleep. It's meaningless. Sex isn't just something on tap for many people. It annoys me. Also it's a bit tmi, no one needs to know how much more sex a random hippy is having than them just getting by.

    Great Video!!! I'm in Canada and winter can be hard getting sunlight, I have a blue light lamp, but was wondering about UBV and vitamin D. Would a UVB lamp be beneficial? Also windows are not a good thing, as they will block UVB but not UVA.

    Lol a woman living like THIS : 5:06 gives advice on eliminating stress. Lady, i assume it is quite easy to deal with stress and anxiety when you're rich af and when u're able to relax in a pool next to ocean whenever u want…

    What really helps me is managing the light in the evening: I have special bulbs, and as the evening (and time for sleep) comes, I use less light (intensity) and make it warmer (more and more orange). In a way, it mimics candles, and make a smooth and natural transition (instead of beeing in a big bath of light and suddenly go to bed in darkness) 😉

    Might not be obvious but keeping lists has always been vital for my sleep – because I'm able to get everything off my mind, I can let go of my thoughts a lot easier. Plus, especially if you're self-employed, making a list for the next day before bed time will make the transition into work a lot easier the next day. As for everything aside from work and personal thoughts, I keep a diary, which also helps tons to clear your mind before sleep.

    This is such an important topic! I still have a long way to go to actually implement all of those things in my life. I've had a lot of sleeping problems but I've found it really helpful to listen to relaxing music before going to bed and while trying to fall asleep. I actually created my youtube channel to help me and others like me fall asleep so if anyone here reading this is interested in trying relaxing music as way to help you fall asleep, you can find some videos on my channel 🙂
