Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries before 2020 and all 7 continents, we have no plans to slow down anytime soon, and we are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

This video screams entitlement and lack of respect for healthcare workers, and a straight up "f u" to all of us that have stayed at home. I'm so so sick and tired of staying at home (mental health hasn't been great) but I do it because I don't want to get me or my family or other strangers sick. If all of us cut non essential travel and social distanced properly for just a little bit we could drastically cut covid-19 cases and finally get out of the situation. But no. People like you travel, and sure, not everyone gets covid. But some of you do. And then this snowballs into the high amount of Covid19 cases that we have now.

Just because its not happening to you or your family doesn't mean coronavirus still isn't spreading. With the US having crazy high coronavirus cases right now can't believe you would travel and then upload this content to thousands of subscribers, suggesting them to travel.

Unsubscribed. I don't ever want to watch a video from you again

The way that you two took off your N95 masks and immediately touching your face is how you could get COVID! Not to mention I don't know why you two are choosing to travel right now. Think about the front line workers that are putting their lives on the line for all of us.

There’s nothing weird about flying. lol
I guess I’m the only person who hasn’t changed anything about their life the past year. lol

  5. Jade Myburgh

I’m a little surprised that after all the backlash on this video, that they have not once acknowledged the concerns of their fans… it’s just business as usual over on Instagram. Does this mean they don’t give a flying f@&! about their fans?

Kara & Nate, I know this was a difficult decision for you all but I am sorry for all the negative comments. Your JOB is to travel and post creative, fun, engaging, and inspiring content. You all traveled with mask, while distancing yourselves from others and used sanitizer. Plus you both spend the last year utilizing your van to continue to have your job and provide uplifting content during a pandemic. 💚

absolutely love disliking all these leftist, brainwashed comments. People need to get a life. We love you guys, hope you had a great time!

I don’t get the tears and apprehension. If you were that sick over it, then you should have kept your booties on the van. Your appearance to me was nothing but “over acting” the part of being so distraught over your decision.
I, like so many people, have stayed hunkered-down for the past 8 months only going out for essentials.
What is it going to take for people in our Country to realize how freaking serious this pandemic is?
I’m not saying you don’t take it seriously, but your actions show otherwise.

What’s the purpose of putting mask for 6 hours on your face when you donot know how to take it off. Kara remove the mask and put it on her hairs. 😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😷😷😷😷😷No words

    I’m baffled you haven’t responded.

I thought you guys were better then that. :/

    Had to unsubscribe… yikes.

Unsubscribed. Typical entitled American mentality of me before everything else. To quote Nathan, "this is crazy." Goodbye, nice knowing ya.

Unsubscribing. Watched your videos from day one, sorry – your decision to travel for leisure without precautions is clearly not the right one. I know traveling is your business. I don't condone traveling to keep your business afloat. Other youtubers have been doing it. For example, youtubers like "Strictly Dumpling" (Mike Chen) traveled to Korea – but he chose a place to go to where COVID19 was not much of an issue (or at least better than his own home country), CLEARLY showed he was quarantining, testing and doing all he can while he was there to be safe. His fans have also been supportive and not experiencing any kind of backlash. But the fact that you didn't take any precautions (PCR, quarantine, etc) shows just how little you two have actually matured and actually learned from your experiences. Read the room. Your country has one of the highest COVID19 because of folks like you, and you are clearly contributing to it.

Other youtubers that I want to point out that's been doing it right is our boi Mike in Canada – "DownieLive". For Aussie content – Amy, over at "Blondie in China". If you like hiking, folks over at "AdventureArchives" are absolutely wonderful! Shoutout to these folks for following protocols. Unsubscribe to these guys and subscribe to people who have a business but still care for people!

Next up: We made a mistake – here's a free video on how to fix frozen/broken van pipes and keep … vanning 🙂
