Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to 😉 which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

No make up, no worries! Good on you Kara, keep remembering all the outside stuff is nice, but never necessary! You're beautiful!!

Hah, it took me almost a month, but I’ve watched the whole thing. Inspiring! Do these kind of adventures on other continents as well! I think you would live to do this in the Nordics! 🙂

I just feels ‘what’s wrong with humanity’ when Kara talks about people commenting about makeup in videos like this. This is life, this is how people actually look. It’s important to see influencers also are normal people that doesn’t look like a movie star all day around. It’s raw it’s natural and thank you for showing us the real world instead of made up tv trip shows.

I know Nate likes to challenge Kara and she did a great job lifting the canoe but I think Nate should’ve helped. She could’ve broken her leg in those rocks 😳

All am gonna say is. don't listen to Random people on the internet hiding behind a computer screen. Think of it. how often do you walk on the street. thinking. '' wow that person cold really need some makeup or something '' I bet that don't really happen. because Everyone is Different. And if someone don't accept you for who you are. And how you look. They don't deserve to have you in their life anyway! Love you All! What an Amazing Trip! I Cold never! But this have Realy motivated me to become more Active! A month and a little too late, but for future adventures that could have you guys crossing paths with some misquotes or gnats, try using dryer sheets and put them in your hats and clothes and you can rub the scent on your skin and face too. Im not gonna guarantee 100% freedom of misquotes, but from my experience, they work miles better than any bug spray, and they not only smell way better but it'll last way longer and wont put oil on your skin or clothes.

  14. Hoody Doody

Looks like fun to me and I bet you all feel the same, that waterfall where y’all took a swim was A++. Cheers 😊

Ok this and that last episode were amazing, fun to watch and congrats you 4 for enduring it all and finding some joy! Who can tell me the brand of the shirt Sarah was wearing In the video where you couldn’t find the campsite and paddled for 30 extra minutes, the shirt is green with what looks like a tree or something( oops might be perspiration) on the front! Thanks 😊timestamp 33:53.

You guys should try to get a permit for desolation/grey canyons river rafting it’s 86 or something and the first probably half is just beautiful. I’ve done it 2x the first time I was 11 and we did it in 6 nights and the second time I was 13 and we did 9 nights which is maximum but it was 11 days. Anyways it is beautiful and I think you guys would like it and compare it to this it would be super neat!!
