Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to 😉 which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

They should be charging about 1/4 of what a legal restaurant charges because they don’t have the overhead. Also some of that food looked burnt on the bottom.

I’ve lived in Virginia my whole life and have always thought Washington DC was boring Bc I can go there whenever I want (also Bc I live right next to it) but this video made appreciate a little bit more (also the cicadas got real bad)

I'm all for the food, buttt it is illegal and they aren't paying taxes like everyone else.

    Love the fundraiser though.

If you ever make your way to Rhode Island, please let me know and my mom will make you the best Bolivian empanadas/pastelitos. Also, we have an amazing family who makes amazing sálteñas which we can have ready for you with some cuñapes for some afternoon snack; and any Bolivian food you miss she will make for you guys. Welcome any time!

I live in the area you guys were in and I never knew that there was such a large Bolivian community! I knew there was a large Vietnamese and Hispanic community but not Bolivian! That is so cool

They went to a Bolivian league game and eden market 😂 This is one of the first YouTube videos I have seen that captures the real parts of my community lol

It'd be really interesting to have you come visit Lancaster County, PA and explore the Amish Community.

Correction: Cuñape comes from the phrase “Little Girl” (pequeña niña) in Guarani, dialect spoken by Tupi-Guarani tribes origin from southeastern Bolivia (near the Amazon) and surrounding countries like Paraguay & Argentina. Next time you’re in Bolivia make sure to visit this region where I’m sure you guys will be astonished by the diversity of amazing natural landscapes, food and our amazing people!

As a Bolivian who grew up in the U.S I never knew about any of this or the whole community as a whole here

That was nice seeing the Bolivian community in Virginia. It’s a shame you didn’t show in the history in Virginia which we are steeped in. Maybe next time you visit Virginia you go to Williamsburg or go somewhere in Virginia where Fried chicken is famous.
